This downloadable pdf is a pattern for sewing tiny rabbit stuffed animals from a pre-knit materials, such as a merino wool, cashmere, or mohair sweater scrap, or even a pair of socks! Suitable for beginner ADULT to intermediate crafters, the pattern can be completed entirely by hand or with some machine sewing in about 45 minutes per rabbit.

Crafted from upcycled sweaters and knitwear, these Wee Things rabbits are not only adorable, but also eco-friendly. This pattern can be used to create small bunny stuffed animals of various sizes. You can also use purchased yardage, but the fabric must have stretch to it, such as a cotton velour. The basic pattern results in a tiny rabbit that is roughly 2 ½ inches long x 2 inches tall, but the thickness and stretch of your sweater scrap might change this. Try scaling the pattern up or down to suit your needs. Also enjoy exploring your creation’s final gesture by adjusting its ear position—perky or floppy—or embroidering or needle-felting spots.
