About the event
Let's make some tiny wee rabbits together! In this free workshop for adults and teens/tweens, Wee Things founder and designer, Rachel Beaupre, will guide you through each step of hand sewing your wee bunnies. Browse through a treasure trove of cashmere swatches to find your favorite bunny colors -- we'll provide everything you need to make two! During the two-hour workshop, Rachel will offer tips and tricks for finding the right fabrics for your future projects, choosing stuffing materials, upcycling sweaters, sculpting features with thread, scaling patterns to make mini bunnies, and more.
At the end of the workshop, all students will take home printed directions and pattern templates so they can continue their sewing. Nothing multiplies like rabbits! Advance Registration is required: https://www.joneslibrary.org/Calendar.aspx?EID=18200&month=3&year=2026&day=29&calType=0 Adults and teens This free workshop is made possible by the Amherst Public Libraries.
