Nothing says “summer is coming” like fresh, sweet strawberries. Join Wee Things fiber artist Rachel Beaupré and hand-sew your own soft felt strawberry baby in its own woven basket! This class is beginner friendly and requires no previous sewing experience. We will cover basic hand-sewing stitches such as blanket stitch and running stitch, as well as how to form a simplified Waldorf-inspired doll head. Each participant will get to customize their own wee baby, choosing skin tone and hair color. The babies and the basket are entirely hand-sewn from plant-dyed wool felt and stuffed with 100% wool. All materials and detailed printed instructions will be provided.

The finished baskets are approximately 3 1⁄2” long x 2 1⁄2” wide x 1 1⁄2” tall and dolls are 4” tall and 2 3⁄4” wide (the pattern may be scaled).
