Just in time for your autumn celebrations, join Wee Things fiber artist Rachel Beaupré and hand sew your own soft pumpkin gnome! This adult & teen sewing class is beginner friendly and requires no previous sewing experience. We will cover basics such as whip stitch and running stitch, as well as easy embroidery and how to form a simplified Waldorf-inspired doll head. Each participant will get to customize their own wee pumpkin baby, choosing skin tone, hair and eye color, as well as the pumpkin fabric. We will work with upcycled sweaters, plant-dyed wool felt, wool batting, and cotton embroidery floss—a beautifully natural materials lineup!
