I have fond childhood memories of picking up boxes of peeping chicks from the post office in our small town. My mom kept a flock of a few dozen laying hens, and it was always a magical time when a batch of new chicks arrived in the mail!

In this workshop, we'll work together, step-by-step, to sew a batch of tiny chicks and their felt nesting box. I will supply everything you need, from the fabrics (yellow cashmere and plant-dyed felts in salmon and brown), matching threads, wool batting, and needle, to the printed directions. The materials kit has enough to make at least THREE little chicks, as well as the nesting box.

This class is beginner friendly and requires no previous sewing experience. It is recommended for adults or very experienced older children (ages 12+).
