Join Wee Things owner, Rachel Beaupre, and craft an exquisite wool felt crown for someone special (perhaps a child, a beloved doll, stuffed animal, or even yourself!). Felt crowns can be used as part of everyday imaginary play or reserved for birthday celebrations and other memorable events.  Adults can certainly sport a crafty crown, too! During the workshop, crafters will choose from a mix of Rachel's own pattern designs (floral, celestial, and animal shapes) or work to design their own unique crown with Rachel's guidance. The class will explore basic hand-sewing and embroidery techniques, and participants may also try out needle-felting simple details. With a beautiful piece of plant-dyed wool felt as its base, your crown is sure to be a work of art!

This workshop is recommended for novice and experienced adult crafts. Children ages 10 and up with some previous sewing experience may also attend with an adult for a discounted ticket.
